Jennifer Woodstock
Jennifer was born in Sayre, PA, but has lived most of her life traveling with her family in the Air Force. She attended college in Kalamazoo, MI where she received her Bachelor's in Biomedical Science and Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the ER and at a nursing home while she was finishing school. She attended Physician Assistant school in Beckley, WV at Mountain State University. She loved each rotation in emergency medicine, psychiatry, pediatrics, OB/GYN, family medicine, geriatrics and surgery. She has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology. She loves working with weight loss patients in order to get them to their goal weight and to a healthier lifestyle.
Jennifer began working at Foothills Internal Medicine and cannot wait to meet her new patients. She is married and plans to start a family in the near future. She is compassionate for each patient with each of their individual needs. She enjoys any watersport activity and loves to travel to different places.
Jennifer is Board Certified and North Carolina licensed by the National Commission of Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA).

Gerri F. Morrison MSN, APRN, BC, FNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner, East Carolina University
Gerri was born in Fairmont, WV, but has lived in the Hickory area for most of her life. She attended Wingate College following high school and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Business. She later began the nursing program at Catawba Valley Community College where she graduated in 1991 with her Associate Degree in Nursing. She received her undergraduate nursing degree from Gardner-Webb University in 1995. During her years of nursing she has provided care in inpatient surgical, home health, eight years of women’s health, which included outpatient obstetrics and gynecology, gynecologic oncology and inpatient obstetrics. Gerri obtained her graduate degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2006 from East Carolina University. Since graduating from ECU, she has worked in the family practice setting taking care of all ages, from birth to adult.
She joined Foothills Internal Medicine in October 2009. Gerri enjoys getting to know her patients and believes it is important to establish a relationship with them first. She is strong in her teaching and clinical skills. Gerri enjoys caring for patients of all ages but has a special interest in women’s health and young adults. She also has a passion for medical missions and travels annually to Nicaragua to provide healthcare to those without access to medical facilities. She is not fluent is Spanish, but has a working knowledge of the language and continues to improve in her Spanish language abilities with each trip to Nicaragua. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and three children. She enjoys watching youth sports and other activities which involve her children.
Gerri is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She looks forward to the opportunity to be your healthcare provider.
