Foothills Internal Medicine offers patients the most thorough Weight Loss Program in the area. By keeping the focus on your overall health and not just your weight, we help you meet your weight loss goals and offer
different options include but are not limited to Tenuate, Bantril, ADIPEX-P® and HCG (Chorionic Gonadatropin).
ADIPEX-P®
Obesity is a health risk that affects men and women of all ages, races, and ethnic
groups. ADIPEX-P® is an appetite suppressant that can be used to treat obesity
for a short period of time, as an adjunct to exercise, behavior modification, and a
low-calorie diet. Conveniently available in capsules and tablets, ADIPEX-P® is
an effective weight loss supplement to exercise, proper eating habits, and the right
attitude.
HCG (Chorionic Gonadatropin)
Through research, physicians have been able to determine a link between obesity and the hypothalamus gland. They found that when the hypothalamus was not working properly, patients would have an intense physical hunger and would crave and eat when they should not have been hungry. The result is an abnormal storage of fat. Researchers found that HCG had a positive effect on the hypothalamus by decreasing hunger. After administering HCG to patients, hunger cravings noticeably were lessened, and they began to lose the abnormal fat storage.

In most cases, patients at Foothills Internal Medicine have experienced the

following benefits when taking the HCG shots and following the

recommendations of our providers:

•
Helps with underlying causes of Obesity

•
Results in loss of excess stored fat

•
Causes no loss of muscle or structural fat

•
Causes the metabolism to dramatically increase

No other diet releases secured fat reserves the way HCG has been shown to
do. Studies have shown that 85% of HCG patients have kept the weight off one year later.
*HCG has no FDA approval as effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity.
